The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority has arrested engineer Navraj Satyal and plumber Bakhat Bahadur Thapa of Water and Sanitation Division Office No. 3 at Ramechhap along with a bribe of 28 lakh rupees.
Authority sources informed that Rs.16 lakh cash and Rs.12 lakh check were recovered from them and Rs.28 lakh. Shyam Prasad Bhandari, the spokesperson of the authority, informed that they have taken money for the payment of the work of Inchingaon drinking water and sanitation consumer committee of Ramechhap.
The authority’s team arrested engineer Satyal and plumber Thapa from the quarters of the water supply office located in Manthali municipality-1.
